Healthcare Committee

AmCham’s Healthcare Committee is an executive forum for research-based Life Science and MedTech Companies and IT companies specializing in healthcare solutions.

Through their investments in R&D and partnerships within the Danish healthcare system, these companies are an invaluable asset to both the healthcare system and to the society as a whole.

Vision
To contribute to the Danish society and improve the quality and access to healthcare for the people of Denmark.

Mission
To work with key healthcare stakeholders and decision makers and bring to the debate international perspective and others’ experiences in search of improvements and best way forward.

To achieve the Committee’s vision, members will:

• Establish an understanding of how access to innovative healthcare solutions help contribute to the improvement of peoples health in Denmark
• Proactively seek influence in the Danish healthcare system
• Bring access to innovative and novel products in alignment with international best practice
• Ensure that decisions made in the future political environment will not endanger the availability of innovative healthcare solutions vital to patients and society.

Membership
Managing Directors of companies operating within the Danish healthcare industry whose companies are AmCham Denmark members in good standing are eligible to participate in this forum, subject to approval by a majority of committee members.
