Your Background and Skills
You have 1-2 years of relevant experience, excellent interpersonal skills and strong English and Danish language proficiency. You may have a degree in business, communications/ journalism or political science, but most importantly, you have an acute understanding of the Danish political and business landscape. U.S. based job experience and/or education is a plus.

To be successful in this role, you are an “IT savvy” self-starter, capable of simultaneously developing, managing and delivering successful projects. You also have a good eye for graphics and some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or even Premiere Pro and After Effects). Experience in applying business analytics and visualizing data is an advantage.

In short, writing and developing quality content comes naturally to you – no matter the format.

Key Responsibilities
As a Communications Consultant, you will be accountable for ensuring coherent messages and visuals across digital and non-digital platforms. You will take the lead in developing high quality content and ensure that the AmCham brand and messaging is promoted consistently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving daily event and member communications including website management, invitations, programs, PowerPoint presentations, news articles and social media posts.
  • Enhancing AmCham’s visibility and voice through monthly newsletters, opinion editorials and various publications.
  • Assisting in event coordination and management in cooperation with the team.
  • Working proactively to strengthen AmCham member base through member care and new member recruitment.
