About the Minister
Brian Mikkelsen was named the new Minister for Business & Economic Affairs in February 2010. Since taking office, Minister Mikkelsen has made 7 promises to businesses to provide a good framework and conditions to support growth.

The seven promises:
1) There will be no more adminsitrative burdens on companies.
2) The focus will only be on growth - not limitations and cost savings
3) SMEs need to be freed from burdensome auditing requirements
4) Failed entrepreneurs must have a second chance
5) There must be clear support and be more accessible for businesses
6) Better credit opportunities at banks
7) SMEs to have easier access to participate in tendering for public contracts
