2010 Trans-Atlantic Reception
AmCham Denmark invites you to join us for the premier networking event of the spring - our 2010 Trans-Atlantic Reception. When it comes to the relationship between the U.S. and the EU, AmCham Denmark believes it is critically important to continue the momentum, champion the progress, and redouble efforts. Today, the EU and U.S. economies are so intertwined that combined they make up 60% of global GDP and constitute a $4 trillion transatlantic economy that provides approximately 14 million jobs.
AmCham believes there is substantial reason to increase focus on the trans-Atlantic bond. At its 2010 Trans-Atlantic Reception, AmCham is pleased to have former Minister for Foreign Affairs Uffe Ellemann-Jensen on hand to discuss developments in the trans-Atlantic relationship, important issues, and what the future might bring.
Additionally, AmCham will announce the winner of the Trans-Atlantic Business Award. This annual award is aimed at highlighting the significance of trans-Atlantic trade and investment between the U.S. and Denmark – recognizing the contributions, importance and positive impact made by Danish companies operating in the U.S. The award will be presented by U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Laurie S. Fulton to one of the four finalist companies below.
This momentous evening will also offer a delicious reception buffet in true Crowne Plaza style and exceptional networking opportunities.
We look forward to welcoming you.
