AmCham 4th Annual Foreign Investors Summit
AmCham Denmark has the great pleasure of holding its premier event of the year – the 4th Annual Foreign Investor Summit – on September 23. This exciting half day event will focus on the important contributions made by foreign companies investing in Denmark, the steps to support growth in the Danish economy and the challenges to attracting and retaining talent. To highlight these issues, AmCham will present the results of its 2010 Autumn Member Survey.
The Summit will be divided into two parts. The first half will focus on overall framework conditions for attracting and retaining foreign companies in Denmark and sparking growth into the Danish economy. Key issues include:
- A focused foreign investment strategy
- Bringing down the high cost of doing business
- Reversing low productivity growth
- Should growth focus on the capital region?
The second half of the Summit will focus more specifically on supporting and enhancing domestic talent as well as attracting and retaining foreign talent, an issue that has been high on AmCham's agenda for many years. To address this important challenge, AmCham has brought together a group of industry executives and politicians to discuss and debate a strategy to ensure that the labor market has the talent it needs both now and in the future.
- How do we support and enhance domestic talent?
- What will make it easier to attract and retain foreign talent?
- Which skills will the Danish workforce need in the coming years and how do we make sure it has them?
This year's Foreign Investors Summit will bring together the foreign and Danish business community, public decision makers and foreign investment stakeholders.
Throughout the morning, there will be plenty of opportunities for informal networking with top executives, political decision makers and foreign investment stakeholders.
