AmCham Healthcare Committee Roundtable with Minister for Health Bertel Haarder

In his new role as Minister for the Interior & Health, AmCham would like to congratulate Minister Haarder and is pleased that he has agreed to the September 7 roundtable meeting with AmCham's Healthcare Committee. The purpose of the meeting is to highlight some of the opportunities for cooperation and share ideas on how industry and the public sector can work together to a higher degree within the Danish healthcare sector.

AmCham is optimistic that the roundtable meeting will help initiate an open dialogue with the goal of building a healthcare system that provides equitable access, high quality, and value for money. One of AmCham Healthcare Committee's focus areas for 2010 is to demonstrate how screening will help support the Prime Minister's 2020 goal of the Danish life expectancy to be among the 10 highest in the world. The Committee's message is that industry is only interested in treating patients who need it. This means the right dose and treatment, for the right people, at the right time. Not only will this improve overall health but lower costs.

This is event is by invitation only.
