2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit: Grow with US (June 18-20)
AmCham in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Denmark encourages Danish companies that are considering, planning or wishing to expand its U.S. operations to apply to attend the 2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
In less than three months, on June 18-20, the SelectUSA Investment Summit will take place in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme will be “Grow with US” and the Summit will address many of the issues foreign companies might have with their potential or existing investment in the United States. The newly appointed U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, will host the event and this is a chance to learn firsthand the business investment priorities of the new Trump administration.
The Summit is the only U.S. event where executives considering investing in- or expanding their investments in the U.S. market can meet, all in one location, with the key federal, state and local officials. This is a perfect opportunity to meet first hand with those officials who control investment regulations and negotiate deals and incentives, as well as investment advisors, facilitators, experts and other investors.
The 2017 Summit will build on the overwhelming success of the previous SelectUSA Investment Summits, which - each year since 2014 - have brought together thousands of participants from more than 70 international and economic development organizations (EDOs) and other representatives from all 50 U.S. states.
Global CEOs and other business leaders representing major international firms have joined entrepreneurs at the Summit who have successfully grown their startups and SMEs in the United States. The Summit will also include an exhibition hall where U.S. economic development organizations host individual or joint booths, display the advantages of their locations, and connect directly with investors
