Cybersecurity Briefing: Critical Infrastructure Is at High Risk

Note: Event parking is available at Lyngby Storcenter (a short walk).

AmCham Denmark, in cooperation with the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), is pleased to welcome you to a Cybersecurity Briefing with leading American expert in cyberspace policy and cybersecurity, Melissa Hathaway.

There is an alarming trend that critical infrastructures and major corporations are falling victim to malicious cyber activities.  More recently, ransomware (WannaCry) and destructive malware (Not Petya) have resulted in bringing critical social services off line and have deeply affected the global economy.   There is an underground marketplace for weapons, services, and sensitive data — that is perpetuating the threat to society.

As a former security advisor to Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Ms. Hathaway will review the threats, economic impacts, and approaches for governments and corporations to increase their resilience and reduce their risks.

Topics include:

  • Critical cyber security infrastructure from legal, policy, and technical perspectives
  • Role of public-private partnerships in the cyber security of vital infrastructure and services
  • Development of effective cyber security strategies for your business

We hope you will join us for this important briefing.

Melissa Hathaway is a leading expert in cyberspace policy and cybersecurity.
