On February 8th AmCham’s Policy Committee met with Sofie Carsten Nielsen for an informal roundtable discussion hosted by the Social-Liberal Party at Christiansborg.
Sofie Carsten Nielsen is the deputy leader of the Danish Social-Liberal Party/ Radikale Venstre and speaker on employment, education and integration. She is a former Minister of Higher Education and Research, and has worked extensively on issues related to international talent. During her time as a minister, she participated in an experiment where she gave the newspaper Berlingske access to her complete ‘digital footprint’, thus allowing a mapping of her personal data.
This laid the groundwork for a lively and informative discussion on both current issues and the political landscape in Denmark.
The Committee also shared information on activities and strategies for the 2017 Folkemøde.
If you want to be invited to future meetings of the Policy Committee, please contact the Secretariat.
