AmCham Denmark has reviewed a successful 2016, approved the annual accounts and elected new board members – paving the way for a strong 2017.
The actions came at AmCham’s March 21 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was skillfully chaired by Arne Møllin Ottosen (Kromann Reumert).
Board Report The first item on the agenda was the report from the Board of Directors, which was presented by AmCham Chairman Ron Park (Roche).
“AmCham, continues to make great progress representing the interests of U.S. and International companies in Denmark. And I am excited to work with the members of this organization as we move forward with such a positive mission for international businesses and Denmark,” reported Park.
Park rounded out his report by extending a special thanks to AmCham members for their loyal support and engagement.

Board Elections In other AGM business, AmCham strengthened its Board of Directors with the election of Britt Meelby Jensen (Zealand Pharma), Kay Green (Hasbro) Anders Thelborg (BMS), and Gretchen Watkins (Maersk Oil). Additionally, Steffen Brygger's (MSD) board appointment from November was confirmed.
