On November 28, AmCham’s HR Committee organized an interactive session on the changing landscape of talent attraction, which was hosted by Copenhagen Capacity.

The competition for global talent is massive, making it increasingly challenging for companies to attract the best candidates. Additionally, widespread digitalization means the number of talent attraction channels is enormous. Therefore, talent attraction efforts must be extremely targeted, and proactive if an organization is going to stand out from the crowd.

Nikolaj Lubanski kicked off the presentations by sharing how Copenhagen Capacity is using digital campaigns and their ‘Greater Copenhagen Career Portal’ to assist companies in finding the right talent.

Next, Morten King-Grubert (Future Place Leadership) talked about how even the largest Danish companies are relatively unknown outside Denmark and how the talent attraction ‘superstar’ companies attract the best young talents.

Mads Leonhardt Thomsen (Nordea) rounded the presentations by sharing Nordea’s journey in changing the way they attract talent due to this new paradigm. This was followed by a lively discussion among participants about how this new talent attraction landscape is impacting their organizations.
