Additionally, AmCham delegates participated in the inaugural Transatlantic Business Works Summit, which was co-organized by the U.S. Chamber and BusinessEurope. The half-day summit focused on ways to deepen transatlantic ties on four fronts: infrastructure, energy, the digital economy, and addressing shared global challenges.

A slightly smaller delegation from 23 AmChams continued on to Chicago, visiting some of the region’s most innovative companies, engaging with senior officials and listening to global thought leaders.

To cap off a highly successful week, executives had an opportunity to attend a breakfast session featuring former Secretary Of State Madeleine Albright, which was organized by Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
