One Stop Shop Copenhagen, a cooperation between CPH International Service, SKAT, State Administration Copenhagen and Citizen Services, made its official opening on Wednesday, June 2. Lord Mayor Frank Jensen was on hand to welcome guests and highlight the many services that the new office will have offer to foreigners working in Denmark.

Mayor Jensen stressed that the cooperation behind One Stop Shop Copenhagen will strengthen Copenhagen's ability to attract international students, researchers and knowledge workers. The new office will start off with opening hours on Wednesday between 10:00 and 12:00 and will offer support with:

  • Receiving and understanding Danish tax cards
  • Information on Municipality services
  • Filling out applications for registration cards
  • Ordering a health service card
  • Applying for a CPR number
  • Registering residence addresses
  • Finding and choosing a doctor

With the increasing need for foreign workers in Denmark, One Stop Shop Copenhagen looks to be a big step in the right direction.
