Expat Leadership Forum: The Unique Role of Danish Foundations
(Note: This event is by invitation only)
AmCham is pleased to invite our Expat Leaders to an event on Danish Foundations and their role in Danish society.
Industrial foundations control 60% of the Danish stock market. Additionally, 50% of Danish research is financed by foundation-owned companies or by grants from industrial foundations, which also support social and cultural activities. We invite you to learn from two experts about this unique form of ownership, which is integral to Danish business and society.
The Lundbeck Foundation's CEO, Lene Skole, will share her personal experience as head of one of the leading foundations in the country.
Steen Thomsen, Professor and Founding Chairman for the Center for Corporate Governance at Copenhagen Business School, is an expert on foundations, and will discuss their history and purpose.
We hope you will join us for this informative event, and an opportunity to network with your expat peers.
Save the Date - Invitations will be sent soon.
