AmCham's Policy Committee is pleased to host an informal roundtable discussion with Mads Fuglede, Member of Parliament for the Danish Liberal Party (Venstre). 

Mads Fuglede has been a Member of the Danish Parliament since 2017. He has previously served as the speaker on Education & Research but was recently appointed as Venstre's spokesperson on integration, foreigners and refugee issues. 

As a political newcomer, Fuglede will share his experience of transitioning from U.S. political expert into Danish politics, as well as share his perspective the government's current integration policies and how these may affect international businesses.

Mads Fuglede has been a parliamentary candidate for the Danish Liberal Party (Venstre) since 2014 and a Member of Parliament since October 1, 2017. He is the party's spokesperson integration and refugee issues. Fuglede has previously served as a U.S. expert commentator on TV2 - particularly during the 2008 and 2012 U.S. Presidential elections. He is also a published author and a sought-after speaker. Mads Fuglede holds a Master's Degree in History & Philosophy from Aarhus University and has taught several courses in international politics and U.S. History at Danish universities and folk schools (højskoler).
