AmCham's Finance Committee is the voice of multinational companies in Denmark on issues relating to taxation and financial regulation and is actively engaged in cooperation with political and public organizations and industries.
The Committee works to promote a stable and predictable financial environment that enforces the competitiveness of Denmark.
The Committee has highlighted the importance of foreign and Danish owned multinational enterprises to the Danish economy in relation to growth, investments and employment – through the report by CBS.
One key finding of this report is that Denmark experiences an increasing gap between inbound and outbound investments. This needs to be resolved and in order to do so we must ensure that multinationals have a more competitive business framework when investing in Denmark.
This overall important message must be made very clear to the government, and the Finance Committee has it as its overarching principle when participating in the public debate on multinational companies and when working to bring about more competitive tax regulations.
