AmCham Denmark Announces Merger with DABF
As of March 16, AmCham Denmark and the Danish-American Business Forum are joining hands. The current DABF services will be incorporated as a standing AmCham committee entitled “Access USA” – and will continue to assist Danish companies entering the United States – Denmark’s third largest market.
With this merger, AmCham becomes a true “bilateral” organization and the leading business network for U.S. and Danish companies, offering members an unrivalled platform for success in Denmark and the U.S. Together, we will represent more than 260 American, Danish and international companies, initially employing a staff of six. AmCham will still be directed under the leadership of Stephen Brugger and former DABF director Einar Dyrhauge will join AmCham as Head of Access USA and Deputy Director of AmCham.
The merger will be officially launched at AmCham Denmark’s Annual General Meeting and Transatlantic Summit on March 16, where the organization will also announce the Transatlantic Company of the Year.
Stephen Brugger, Executive Director of AmCham Denmark: “I am pleased to welcome Einar and his team onboard. With Access USA, AmCham is now a one-stop shop for transatlantic businesses and an even stronger voice for international companies in Denmark. By joining forces, we are combining the expertise and knowledge among our joint members for the benefit of the entire business community.
Einar Dyrhauge, Coming Deputy Director of AmCham Denmark and former Executive Director of DABF: “With this merger, DABF will become a part of the global AmCham network and be able to leverage the multitude of knowledge and experience from colleagues around the globe. This is a clear upscaling of our business services and I look forward to continuing our work to assist Danish companies tap into the huge market potential in the U.S.
