2025 Executive Seminars In Analytical Chemistry (ESAC)
On April 29, AmCham welcomed more researchers, chemists, suppliers and industry experts to the Scandic Copenhagen for the 24th annual Executive Seminars in Analytical Chemistry (ESAC 2025).
Daniel Otzen, Professor at The Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center at Aarhus University, opened the event with his keynote address: “Enzymatic plastic degradation: A solution to plastic pollution”
Overall, this event showcases the latest developments within three distinct areas of analytical chemistry: Life Science/Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Applied Sciences. Participants could choose between 12 different seminars organized in three parallel sessions, to visit informational booths by the progressive vendors, including this year’s guest vendors Peak Scientific, Shimadzu, Hamilton, Biotage, and Integra, and to network with industry professionals.
Following a full and valuable day, the event was topped off by a fun mixer including a wine tasting by AmericanWine, giving participants a chance to network, and celebrate the advancements in analytical chemistry with their peers.
ESAC 2025 was sponsored by AmCham Denmark’s Analytical Instruments Committee and is the result of an ongoing collaboration between four independent companies: Agilent Technologies, Bruker, Thermo Scientific, & Waters. The companies’ efforts culminate each year in this popular conference, which enables scientific researchers to network, share their experiences, and learn more about the latest methods and results in their specific field of research.
Planning is already underway for the next ESAC conference, to be held in spring 2026.
