All Covid Restrictions to be Lifted in Denmark
On August 27th the Danish Health Minister Magnus Heunicke announced that as of September 10, Covid-19 will no longer be categorized as a disease which is a “critical threat to the Danish society”. This new categorization means that all domestic restrictions will be removed.
The move by the Danish Government is good news for the Danish business community and is due to a large extent the high vaccination rates in Denmark. This also means that from September 10 you will no longer need to show a corona passport to enter restaurants, nightclubs or large events in Denmark.
Current travel restrictions for entering Denmark are still in place, but are set to expire at the end of October. There is no news yet, as to if these travel restrictions might be extended.
