AmCham AGM Reviews Successful Year & Looks Ahead to 2020

In light of the current public health guidance around COVID-19, AmCham is taking all necessary precautions with regards to events to ensure the health and safety of our guests & speakers. This year, AmCham Denmark’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was therefore held online via Microsoft Teams.

At the online AGM the annual accounts were approved and new board members were selected – paving the way for a strong 2020. The meeting was skillfully chaired by Anne Marie Abrahamson (Lundgrens).

Board Report
The first item on the agenda was the report from the Board of Directors, which was presented by AmCham Chair Angela Naef (DuPont).

“In 2019, AmCham performed well above expectations with respect to our business plan objectives, successfully capitalizing on key opportunities throughout the year.”

Naef rounded out her report by extending a special thanks to AmCham members for their loyal support and engagement. She also announced that she will be stepping down as AmCham Chair following this AGM, and presented Richard Wright, General Manager, Roche, whom the board has unanimously selected as her successor. Chamber Finances
