AmCham Denmark Welcomes New Executive Director: Linking People, Policy, and Business

AmCham Denmark is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Draper as its new Executive Director.

A seasoned transatlantic leader, Draper brings a distinguished career that uniquely bridges diplomacy, global business, and Danish American relations.

An American citizen who has called Denmark home for more than two decades, Draper served at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen as a diplomat dedicated to strengthening bilateral ties. He later advanced to senior public affairs roles at leading Danish multinationals including Coloplast, Danfoss & Scandinavian Tobacco Group, where he championed international business interests and successfully navigated complex global policy landscapes.

With deep personal and professional roots in Denmark, Draper embodies AmCham’s mission to strengthen the transatlantic business community and promote favorable conditions for foreign investment in Denmark. His appointment also reinforces AmCham’s stability and continuity, ensuring a smooth transition that builds on a strong foundation.
