AmCham Welcomes New Board Members

AmCham Denmark is pleased to announce the appointment of three new board members:

  • Andreas Daugaard Jørgensen, Managing Director, MSD
  • Thomas Oth, General Manager Denmark & Finland, Coca-Cola Nordic Services
  • Andrei Vorobyov, Partner, Bain & Company

AmCham Board Chair Angela Naef (DuPont) says; “It is with great pleasure that we welcome these three strong profiles to help strengthen AmCham as the Voice for International Business in Denmark. AmCham has a strong history of working to create a competitive and sustainable business climate for U.S. and international companies and I look forward to working with my new AmCham colleagues to ensure the organization’s ongoing success”.

Andreas Daugaard Jørgensen, Managing Director, MSD
Andreas Daugaard Jørgensen has served as MSD’s (Merck) Managing Director for Denmark & Iceland since 2018. He has worked for MSD for the past 7 years, assuming roles of increasing responsibility in Denmark, The Netherlands and not least in the MSD headquarters in New Jersey, U.S. Andreas has a background in Health Policy and Health Economics from Denmark and Australia.

Thomas Oth, Country Manager Denmark & Finland, Coca-Cola
Thomas Oth has served as General Manager for Coca-Cola Denmark & Finland since March, 2019. He began his career at Deloitte Consulting and has advanced rapidly since his switch to Coca-Cola in 2010. In recent years, Thomas Oth has been involved in managing the successful launches of Fuze Tea, Honest iced tea and the plant-based beverage, AdeZ, as well as having had a great influence on the strategic direction of Coca-Cola’s products within waters and sports drinks. Thomas Oth holds a Master of Business from the Free University of Brussels.

Andrei Vorobyov, Partner, Bain & Company
Andrei Vorobyov is a partner based in Bain & Company’s Copenhagen office. He is an expert in the firm’s Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions practices in the Nordics. Andrei joined Bain in Chicago as a Summer Associate in 2003 and then full-time in 2004. During his career at Bain & Company, he has worked with numerous clients in private equity, technology, media, consumer goods, and financial services. Andrei earned his MBA, with high honors, from the University of Chicago GSB, where he was a Siebel Scholar. He also holds an MS in computer science from Northern Illinois University.
