AmCham’s Annual Family Thanksgiving Dinner 2025
On Sunday, November 23, AmCham welcomed members, guests and family to our Annual Family Thanksgiving Dinner at the Copenhagen Marriott – a festive afternoon filled with tradition and plenty of American holiday spirit.
More than 200 participants enjoyed an authentic Thanksgiving feast featuring all the classics: roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie. The Marriott’s culinary team once again delivered a memorable meal, complemented by American wines, beer, and soft drinks.
Fun for the Whole Family
As always, the event offered a wide range of activities for children and adults alike, including a lively Coca-Cola Fun Room that buzzed with energy throughout the afternoon, musical performances by the Copenhagen International School children’s choir, and a supervised arts & crafts room for our youngest Thanksgiving guests.
Attendees also enjoyed a spirited table quiz with chocolate prizes – and, of course, our popular raffle, featuring the grand prize of two $2,000 airline vouchers courtesy of Air France/KLM/Delta.
Supporting the Next Generation of Transatlantic Talent
This year’s raffle proceeds supports the AmCham Education Fund – an initiative created to nurture future transatlantic talent and strengthen the next generation of U.S.–Denmark connections.
The Fund will finance the new AmCham Stephen Brugger Scholarship at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS), honoring outgoing Executive Director Stephen Brugger’s 25 years of leadership and his longstanding commitment to U.S.–Danish cooperation.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, this year’s Thanksgiving raffle directly contributes to this meaningful new scholarship initiative.
