Bipartisan U.S. congressional delegation meets with Danish business leaders
We recently had the privilege of strengthening transatlantic dialog, in an exclusive “Meet the Leaders” luncheon featuring a high-level, bipartisan delegation from the U.S. House of Representatives, led by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
The event underscored the enduring strength of the U.S.-Denmark relationship. Jeffries and the other Representatives participated in a lively discussion where they emphasized this enduring partnership and specifically stated that Denmark has been a tremendous ally to the US by supporting the building of a rules-based international order, and contributing to global security efforts over the past 80 years. Discussions also highlighted the mutual dedication of the U.S. and Denmark to address future global challenges collaboratively.
The delegation included Representatives representing a broad cross-section of perspectives from across the U.S. Congress:
- Gregory Meeks (D-NY), Ranking Member, Foreign Affairs Committee, Member, Committee on Financial Services
- Amata Coleman Radewagen (R-American Samoa), Vice-Chairman, Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Member, Natural Resources Committee, Member, Foreign Affairs Committee
- Madeleine Dean (D-PA), Member, Committee on Appropriations | Member, Foreign Affairs Committee
- Marilyn Strickland (D-WA), Member, Committee on Armed Services, Member, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure
- Greg Landsman (D-OH), Member, Committee on Energy and Commerce
- Laura Friedman (D-CA), Member, Committee on Science, Space and Technology, Member, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure
