Cross-border compliance in a changing enforcement landscape – A US/EU perspective

In cooperation with Foley & Lardner and Kromann Reumert, we hosted an exclusive roundtable on corporate compliance enforcement priorities and prosecutorial expectations for 2026.

The seminar brought together a small group of participants for a candid, Chatham House Rule discussion on the compliance challenges facing Danish companies operating on both sides of the Atlantic.

Partner David Simon from Foley & Lardner and Partner Hans Jakob Folker from Kromann Reumert guided the discussions, focusing on the practical implications of DOJ’s corporate criminal enforcement priorities under the Trump administration — including cooperation credit, voluntary self-disclosure, and remediation expectations — as well as the evolving status of the EU anti-corruption directive and its likely impact on raising the compliance bar across the eurozone.

Many thanks to our expert presenters for once again sharing their valuable insights on this critical issue for Danish companies, and to all who participated.
