Drive innovation through inclusive multicultural teaming

AmCham members were invited to explore the benefits of inclusive multicultural teams with the help of American thought leader, U.C. Berkeley HAAS Professor and Aperian Co-founder, Dr. Ernest Gundling. Hosted by Danske Bank in their fantastic new headquarters, we discussed driving innovation through multicultural teaming – with a focus on inclusive leadership and DEI.

Special focus was given to:

• Leveraging different perspectives and work styles to create a high-performing team
• Effectively managing ‘divergence’ and ‘convergence’ in a multicultural team environment
• Contributions of cultural agility and inclusive leadership to each stage of the innovation process

In addition to the theories and concepts, Dr. Gundling also presented many concrete case examples to drive the ideas home. The event ended with a great Q&A where participants received input on their specific challenges.
