Healthcare Committee meets Dorte Bech Vizard

Today, members of AmCham’s Healthcare Committee met with Dorte Bech Vizard, Deputy Permanent Secretary and Edward James-Smith, Head of EU Affairs from the Ministry of the Interior and Health. Discussions focused on the upcoming EU presidency and related initiatives, including the EU Pharma legislation

The meeting was highly productive, with valuable exchanges on Denmark’s and the EU’s life science strategy, regulatory developments, and opportunities for public-private collaboration. Dorte provided insightful perspectives on the Ministry’s approach to strengthening innovation and ensuring a competitive EU, sparking a dynamic dialogue among participants.
