Navigating Inclusion in a Changing Landscape
Members and guests gathered for an insightful HR Forum session on how companies are navigating inclusion in a fast-evolving political and legal landscape. Hosted by Mazanti-Andersen, the event explored how global organizations are adapting their people strategies while balancing values, compliance, and business realities.
The session opened with expert perspectives from Christina Burgwald, Head of People Consulting, who highlighted how recent U.S. legal developments are shaping corporate approaches to inclusion.
She was followed by Julie Gerdes, Head of People Sustainability & Employment Law and Partner at EY Denmark, who discussed recognizing neurodiversity in the workforce as a business imperative and emphasized the importance of having a clear strategy.
Together, their remarks helped clarify increasingly complex topics while outlining the opportunities that arise when organizations rethink long-established frameworks.
Participants then heard from Christian Lauritzen, Director of People & Culture at ISS, who discussed how a large, global workforce can adapt its approach while staying grounded in long-term values. He provided examples of how ISS is maintaining an inclusive culture across borders—even as expectations, requirements, and risks continue to shift.
The panel discussion and Q&A encouraged open dialogue in a safe arena, giving attendees the chance to compare experiences and explore how transatlantic companies are navigating these developments.
For anyone working in HR, leadership, legal, or policy, the dialogue offered practical insights on today’s evolving inclusion landscape, and how companies can stay aligned and future-ready.
