Meet the Finalists for the 2020 Transatlantic Company of the Year!

AmCham Denmark, in partnership with American-Danish Business Council, is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2020 Transatlantic Company of the Year. We congratulate these outstanding companies and wish them well as AmCham’s independent jury evaluates their accomplishments.

Their significant investment of over 13% of annual revenue in R&D allows for continued technological leadership. Today, Kamstrup delivers and supports solutions for utility companies in more than 80 countries worldwide and has sales offices globally and production facilities in both Denmark and the United States.

Haldor Topsøe
Topsoe is a world leader in high-performance catalysts and proprietary technologies for the chemical and refining industries. Based on cutting-edge research and development, Topsoe helps customers achieve optimal performance in all phases from design to daily operations – in the most responsible way. Topsoe is headquartered in Denmark and serves customers across the globe. In 2019, their revenue was approximately 880 million US dollars, and they employ some 2,200 employees.

Ørsted is recognized as the global leader in the successful development, construction, and operation of commercial-scale offshore wind projects, and was recently named the world’s most sustainable company. With nearly 30 years in the renewable energy industry, Ørsted has evolved from a regional fossil-fuel company to a global renewable energy leader through its offshore and onshore wind farms, solar farms, energy storage facilities, and bioenergy plants.
