Meet the Leaders with Alex Vanopslagh

AmCham Denmark was pleased to welcome members and partners to a Meet the Leaders session with Alex Vanopslagh, Party Leader of the Liberal Alliance and Member of the Danish Parliament.

As we head into this election year, we want to provide members with a sense of how leading political leaders view Denmark’s economic future, the conditions for growth and competitiveness, and the balance between regulation and opportunity in what is an increasingly volatile world.

The discussion offered first-hand insights from one of the Blue Bloc’s prominent political voices, focusing on Denmark’s economic direction, competitiveness agenda, and the role of business in shaping future policy.

With national elections approaching in 2026, the conversation also touched on Liberal Alliance’s key priorities, as well as the broader outlook of the Blue Bloc, including perspectives on Denmark’s and transatlantic positioning.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where members had the opportunity to engage directly with Vanopslagh on timely and relevant business questions, followed by networking among attendees.
