Summer Event brings Mentoring Program participants together

Participants in AmCham Denmark’s Leadership Mentoring Program gathered on Friday in AmCham’s office on Østerbro, for the program’s Summer Event. An afternoon built around a simple idea: get people talking to someone other than their own match.

Rather than a seated session, the group set off on a walk around Østre Anlæg, where a networking activity paired participants with peers from across the program and prompted them to talk about themselves and their lives — a chance to get to know each other without work taking over.

Back at AmCham, the connections made in the park carried on over a Friday Bar, in the kind of exchange that gives the program its value beyond the formal mentor-mentee relationship.

The Leadership Mentoring Program pairs emerging leaders with experienced executives from AmCham’s member community, combining one-to-one mentoring with group sessions and networking events across the program year.
