The pausing of the FCPA is over

As a follow-up to an event in the spring on the pausing of the FCPA enforcement AmCham Denmark, in cooperation with Foley & Lardner and Kromann Reumert hosted a webinar September 3 on the ‘The pausing of the FCPA is over’.

The webinar focused on the current status of FCPA enforcement and DOJ priorities and was put in perspective with the EU and the current directive on combating corruption.

Enforcement will continue, but focus will be changing both in the US and in the EU and the discussion centered around this critical issue for Danish companies, likely shaping the compliance agenda in the second half of 2025 and beyond.

Partner David Simon from Foley Lardner and partner Hans Jakob Folker from Kromann Reumert presented and discussed these latest developments.
