Claus Meyer – Key Learnings From a U.S. Business Journey

AmCham Denmark in partnership with Restaurant Mission CPH is pleased to invite our members to an afternoon of inspiration with world-renowned restaurateur Claus Meyer, who has succeeded with multiple businesses and projects in the U.S.

In June 2016, Danish chef Claus Meyer opened Great Northern Food Hall and the Michelin awarded restaurant, Agern, both in the Vanderbilt Hall of Grand Central Terminal, New York, bringing culinary concepts from the Nordic countries to New York.

Claus Meyer also engaged in other projects in New York i.e. a social project in Brownsville, East New York, establishing a culinary school, cafeteria, bakery and community center, serving the local community and with the goal of engaging at-risk youth. This initiative was selected as one of the “Philanthropy 100” nominees by CSQ Magazine.

At this event, Claus Meyer will share his experiences with opening a business and succeeding in the U.S.
