Bright Green Summit

AmCham Denmark, in partnership with AmCham Finland, AmCham Norway and AmCham Sweden, is pleased to invite you to the Bright Green Summit – a rapid response to COP26 in Glasgow.

The Nordics’ vision has long been to be the most sustainable and integrated region in the world. With this in mind, the American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, in partnership with Mundus International, present the Bright Green Summit. The Bright Green Summit will highlight opportunities and serve as a platform to collaborate across industries, governments, academia, and society to provide the education, policies, products and services necessary to combat climate change on a global scale.

Representatives from corporations, trade and industry organizations and elected officials will gather live in Stockholm, and online across the Nordics, Europe and the U.S. to discuss the outcomes of the COP26 summit, including:

  • Securing global net zero emissions across the entire social spectrum by mid-century to limit temperature increases to below 1.5 degrees
  • Adapting business to protect communities and natural habitats
  • Mobilizing finance that will lead to quick gains in positive climate change
  • Removing barriers between countries so they can work across borders in harmony together

The discussions that take place at The Bright Green Summit will be a model to follow in terms of the innovation, resolve and talent that is needed to create immediate, lasting and meaningful change on a global scale.
