AmCham is pleased to welcome our Leadership Mentoring Program participants to a mid-session breakfast & leadership workshop at IFF’s Danish HQ in Lyngby, where we will hear a talk about global leadership by IFF’s Vice President, Nourish Pricing & Distribution & Managing Director Scandinavia & Iceland, Brian Brix.

Following this, the event will feature a mini-workshop on how to lead inclusively with a global mindset, by experts at Aperian Global who specialize in inclusive workplace consulting with a global lens and local cultural relevance.

WORKSHOP FACILITATORS

Ekaterina von Gertten is a Senior Consultant, Learning Solutions and Enablement at Aperian Global. With a focus on the EMEA region, Ms. von Gertten’s expertise lies in the areas of Diversity & Inclusion, Global Mobility, and Virtual & Global teams. Ms. von Gertten has served as a key resource in Aperian Global’s work with Fortune 100 companies in many sectors, including GSK, Gazprom, Oracle, Staples, Ørsted, and more. Prior to Aperian Global, Ms. von Gertten worked at Richard Lewis Communications and Better Business International. Ms. Gertten is broadly educated with an MA in Linguistics, a BA in Opera Singing, and is a certified coach and public speaker. Her work is conducted in English, Swedish, Belarusian and Russian.

Anja Stentoft Jacobsen is a Senior Consultant for the Virtual Collaboration & Team Offerings at Aperian Global. Working with customers across industries (fx Caterpillar, Carlsberg, Coloplast, EMC Corporation, LEGO, & Philips), Anja helps define globalization efforts with expatriating senior managers and globally dispersed teams.
With an MA in Cross-Cultural Competency Development from Aalborg University, 10+ years of global and virtual management expertise and an in-depth understanding of the cross-cultural business, Ms. Jacobsen focuses on building bridges amidst the barrier of cultural differences to successfully conduct business across borders.
