Logistics & Supply Chain Challenges During COVID-19 – Transatlantic Perspectives
AmCham Denmark, in partnership with Seabury Consulting, Chr. Hansen and DSV, is pleased to present a live stream on ‘Logistics challenges during the current crisis in a Transatlantic Perspective’.
The economic partnership with the U.S. is stronger than ever and both inbound and outbound trade is significant. The U.S. became Denmark’s number one trading partner in 2019 and Danish exports of goods are now at USD 8,9 billion (up by 1,2 billion). The current COVID-19 crisis is creating a huge disturbance in the logistics area for both Danish and American companies exporting goods, especially due to the air cargo fleet capacity down approx. 60% and consequently pressuring alternative logistics solutions.
The session will cover:
- Cargo capacity changes globally and the Transatlantic due to the COVID-19 impact
by Marco Bloemen, Managing Director, Seabury Consulting - How to optimize your global supply chain and logistics in a disrupted world
by Søren Winther, Head of Global Logistics, Chr. Hansen - What options do you have to keep your supply chain running?
by Niels Larsen, President, DSV Air/Sea North America
Jesper Petersen, Director Commercials, Air & Sea Denmark - Q&A session
Join us to get insights and best practices from logistics experts from DSV, Chr. Hansen and Seabury Consulting on how to handle this situation and have your questions ready with your challenges.
