In his new book “The Context Marketing Revolution: How to Motivate Buyers in the Age of Infinite Media,” Sweezey reveals Salesforce survey data from 11,000 businesses, which showed that the 16% of high-performing companies that enjoyed consistent growth were those that focused on crafting experiences across the customer journey. The surveys found no significant difference between whether a customer was a millennial or a boomer, B2B or B2C. Instead, the insights show that consumers are making decisions in different ways—amounting to an entirely altered customer journey.
