Virtual Session: Policy Forum w. Alex Vanopslagh (LA)

Due to the current covid-19 health crisis, AmCham taking precautions with regards to our events to ensure the health and safety of our guests, speakers, members and staff. Therefore, whenever possible, we are converting our events into online sessions to continue the dialogue and knowledge exchange between our members and key stakeholders.

AmCham’s Policy Forum is pleased to present an informal virtual discussion with Alex Vanopslagh, Member of Parliament and newly elected political leader of Liberal Alliance.

At this virtual discussion, Vanopslagh will share his vision as leader for Liberal Alliance as well as for Denmark – especially in regards to attracting foreign labor and foreign investments to Denmark in order to ensure a competitive business climate.

Vanopslagh will also provide some insight into the government’s the relief packages and what opportunities he sees for kickstarting the economy and business sector in the wake of the public health crisis.

About Alex Vanopslagh
Alex Vanopslagh has served as a Member of Parliament and political leader of Liberal Alliance since June 2019. In 2014, Alex was elected Chair of the Liberal Alliance Youth, where he managed to double the membership during his two-year tenure. In 2017, he was elected to serve on the Copenhagen Municipal Council, a position he recently stepped down from in order to dedicate his time to leading the party. For the past three years, Alex has worked as a political consultant for the PA consulting bureau GRACE PA and he holds a Master in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
