Ukrainian Children’s Choir

Join us for an enchanting evening, supporting Ukrainian voices through music.

AmCham and member companies Gløggkompagniet, Nemlig.com and Coca-Cola are supporting a fundraiser event with Ukrainian Youth Choir “Shchedryk“ from Kyiv, at Helligåndskirken in Copenhagen. They are on their way back to Ukraine after performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Shchedryk is one of the most accoladed youth choirs in the world, winner of numerous grand prix at the leading musical and choir festivals, with the most recent being winning the first place with honors “Outstanding Success” in their category at XIII Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music festival (Austria), 2019. The choir continues to practice in Kyiv – amidst the war.

The event in Copenhagen is organized by Ukraine House Copenhagen – and many displaced Ukrainians who are living in the area will be invited to participate for free, in order to bring joy to the Ukrainian mothers and children living in Copenhagen – so far from their homeland. The event proceeds from sales to the general public will benefit the choir.

Cost: 125 DKK
The entrance is free for сhildren under 16 and for displaced persons from Ukraine 
(please do not forget your passport as proof of ID).
