Ambassador Leventhal and Minister Morten Bødskov Sign Statement of Understanding

On May 2, Ambassador Leventhal and Minister Morten Bødskov signed a U.S.-Denmark Statement of Understanding, aimed at promoting the green transition and expanding investment opportunities for businesses from both countries. This agreement underscores the shared commitment of the U.S. and Denmark to address climate change as a top priority and highlights the Inflation Reduction Act as a historic initiative to drive the development of a new, clean energy economy.

The Statement of Understanding further strengthens the close and longstanding ties between the United States and Denmark and will open the door to increased cooperation between green and clean tech industries in the two countries.
