AmCham Healthcare Committee Meets Dorte Bech Vizard

On November 22, representatives from AmCham’s Healthcare Committee conducted an informal roundtable discussion with Dorte Bech Vizard, Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health.

During the session, Bech Vizard discussed the ministry’s learnings and takeaways made so far in regards to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic – and how business and government worked in tandem for the good of our people. Another key issue discussed were challenges related to the private sector’s access to healthcare data, which is paramount in attracting life science investments to Denmark.

About the Deputy Permanent Secretary
Dorte Bech Vizard is currently the deputy permanent secretary in the Healthcare Ministry’s department for Patient Safety, Medicine and Global Health. She has previously served as ambassador to Singapore and Brunei as well as director of Invest in Denmark.
