AmCham’s 2020 Fall Member Dinner at Sølyst

On October 1, AmCham members and stakeholders gathered for AmCham’s Fall Member Dinner at Sølyst, which was sponsored by Copenhagen Capacity and RiskPoint.

This annual event focuses on the importance and positive impact of foreign companies investing in Denmark and culminates in the presentation of the Foreign Company of the Year.

The evening featured an insightful presentation by TV2 U.S. Political Analyst Mirco Reimer-Elster, who shared his perspectives on the upcoming 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. In addition, former Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen gave the keynote speech on leadership in politics and shared a few anecdotes on meeting U.S. Presidents throughout his time as Prime Minister.

The evening concluded with the U.S. Ambassador Carla Sands announcing the winner of the 2020 Foreign Company of the Year, which went to IBM. The award was accepted by IBM’s General Manager Henrik Bodskov.
