Denmark and California Sign Agreement on Climate Smart Dairy Collaboration
Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Rasmus Prehn and Secretary of The California Department of Food and Agriculture Karen Ross have signed a Memorandum of Understanding focusing on how dairy innovations and technologies can address climate change.
The dairy operations in Denmark and California are amongst the most efficient and innovative globally, but the agreement recognizes that there are opportunities to explore and reimagine how dairy farms in the future can produce more efficiently and have a smaller environmental footprint.
The Memorandum will provide the foundation to explore this, by sharing knowledge, experiences, data and best practices as well as explore new innovative partnerships relevant to climate and environmental challenges.
