Friends of America Evening with Winemaker Peter Work

On April 26, AmCham “Friends of America” gathered in the AmCham Loft to hear an inspirational story about how a brief moment can alter the course of your life – and about following your dreams.

Peter Work, the owner of California Winery Ampelos Cellars, shared his unique story of how a cancelled meeting at the Twin Towers on 9/11 changed his life from being a fast-paced corporate executive, to owning one of the first organic and biodynamic vineyards in the U.S.

Following his talk, guests gathered at Restaurant Ambassaden & Konsulatet for a wine pairing dinner and great conversations.
