AmCham’s Healthcare Committee Meets with Lars Gaardhøj

On August 31, AmCham’s Healthcare Committee hosted CEO’s of international research-based healthcare companies for a roundtable conversation with Lars Gaardhøj, Chairman of the Regional Council of Denmark’s Capital Region (Region Hovedstaden).

During this session, Lars Gaardhøj shared his vision on how to maintain the capital as a leading life science hub – including the role of international investments, public-private research partnerships, value-based healthcare, sustainability, innovation, digitalization, and current challenges in healthcare.

About Lars Gaardhøj
Lars Gaardhøj was elected to the Regional Council of the Capital Region in 2009 has served as Chairman of the Capital Region since May 2021. Lars’s key focus areas as Regional Chairman are to strengthen the regional healthcare system to provide timely, high-quality treatment for all, and improving the infrastructure in the Region – including reducing CO2 emissions from traffic.
