Meet AmCham’s New Team Member

AmCham is pleased to announce that Sofie Amalie Buhl Blomsterberg has joined the AmCham team as our new Communications & Policy Associate. With her keen understanding of Danish politics along with her extensive communication skills, Sofie Amalie will ensure that AmCham actively engages with relevant stakeholders at Christiansborg, while also helping to ensure that AmCham’s broader mission is consistently communicated across various platforms

I look forward to getting to know our members and contribute with my knowledge and insights into Danish politics and Christiansborg, and help our members actively engage with key political stakeholders across the political spectrum”, says Sofie Amalie Blomsterberg.

As a background, Sofie Amalie holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies and Politics & Administration (Cand.comm) from Roskilde University. Prior to joining AmCham, she worked as an advisor for Venstre at Christiansborg and interned as a communications assistant in the European Parliament, where she learned about the decision processes in EU, as well as assisting with content creation at the European Parliament museum, The Parlamentarium. She is currently a City Council member of Albertslund Municipality and has previously been a member of the Committee on Health Research Ethics in the Capital Region of Denmark.
