Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen Leads Historical Business Delegation to the U.S.
This week, more than 50 Danish companies and business organizations joined the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen as she led a business delegation in New York and Washington D.C.
This was the largest promotion of Danish industries in recent times where companies and stakeholders exchanged experiences and solutions within climate technology, water technology, green hydrogen, offshore wind, BioSolutions and the defense industry.
“Going green will pave the way for new jobs for your citizens, new opportunities for your communities. Let’s build the partnership to make the best of these opportunities – for the benefit of us all.” – Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen
In her opening remarks to kick off the program in Washington D.C., newly appointed Ambassador to the US, Christina Markus Lassen, stated: “In Denmark, we are very proud to have some of the world’s leading clean-tech companies. Many of whom are represented here tonight. I am happy to see that so many Danish companies are investing in the green future of the U.S.”
During the program, Prime Minister Frederiksen also participated in a business roundtable at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which was hosted by U.S. Chamber CEO Suzanne Clark. AmCham’s Stephen Brugger joined the session along with key U.S. – Danish business leaders.
