U.S. Embassy 2024 Visa Update

AmCham Denmark, in partnership with U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section and Confederation of Danish Industries (DI), invited members and guests to a virtual update on the current U.S. Visa and ESTA processing.

During the session, the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section Chief Paul Mastin and Visa Unit Chief Aaron Hopkins provided the latest on the Visa Waiver Program/ESTA, changes to Interview Waiver Authorities, tips and tricks for expedited appointments, and information on different types of work visas, as well as business/tourist visas (B1/B2). Additionally, the speakers addressed other visa issues, including immigrant, diplomatic, and official visas, along with administrative processing.

The U.S. Embassy is continuing to process all classes of visas and is fully focused on working to improve visa response time of visa applications and expedited appointments to meet the increasing demand from business.
