AmCham Annual General Meeting Reviews Successful Year & Looks Ahead to 2023
AmCham Denmark’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), was hosted at ISS’s Danish headquarters, and chaired by Ulrik Fleischer-Michaelsen, partner at 360 Law Firm.
Board Report
The first item on the agenda was the report from the Board of Directors, which was presented by AmCham Chair Nicolai Moresco (Dell Technologies) who reviewed the past year’s activities, noting: “Despite a challenging start to 2022, AmCham managed to perform well above expectations with respect to its business plan goals.”
He added: “AmCham’s full program of in-person events delivered inspiration, insight and thought leadership to our members.” He also highlighted AmCham’s successful Leadership Mentoring Program which kicked off in early 2022. Moresco rounded out by thanking AmCham’s board and members for their continued support throughout 2022.
AmCham Finances
In other AGM business, AmCham approved its 2022 accounts (prepared by Grant Thornton), approved the 2023 budget and set the membership dues for 2024.
Board Elections
AmCham also strengthened its Board with the election of four directors:
– Alexandra Besse, President, Subsea Production Systems, NOV
– Birgitte Svejstrup Eriksen, Managing Director, DXC
– Kim Saaby Hedegaard, CEO, Power-to-X, Topsoe
– Cynthia Koetsier-Beerten, Managing Director, Cisco Denmark
Additionally, the 2022 board appointments of Tara M. Lause, Director Northern Europe, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and Henrik Nielsen, Executive Vice President, DSV Sea & Air were confirmed.
