AmCham Annual General Meeting Reviews Successful Year & Looks Ahead to 2024

AmCham Denmark’s 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was hosted at Microsoft’s Danish headquarters, and chaired by Anne Marie Abrahamson, partner at Lundgrens Law Firm.

Board Report
The first item on the agenda was the report from the Board of Directors, which was presented by AmCham Chair Nicolai Moresco (Dell Technologies) who reviewed the past year’s activities, noting: “In 2023, AmCham performed above expectations with respect to our goals and successfully capitalized on key opportunities throughout the year.

He added: “AmCham’s full program of events delivered inspiration, insight and thought leadership to our members.” He also shared insight into the Board’s business plan strategy work in late 2023, positioning AmCham well for a strong performance in 2024 – AmCham’s 25th Anniversary. Moresco rounded out by thanking AmCham’s board and members for their continued support throughout 2023.

AmCham Finances
In other AGM business, AmCham approved its 2023 accounts (prepared by Grant Thornton), approved the 2024 budget, and set the membership dues for 2025 – which remain unchanged.

Board Elections
AmCham also strengthened its Board with the election of FLSmidth’s Joshua Meyer, President Service Business Line.

Additionally, the 2023 board appointments of Nicholas Hendy, Country Officer & Head of Corporate Banking at Citi and Ece Bayrak, Managing Director Denmark & Iceland for MSD were confirmed.
